Alphonso Mango Pulp– also known as Khader, Gundu, Badami & Appus :-
Variety : The leading commercial Indian variety

Season : Middle May – Middle July
The honey sweet Alphonso is the Emperor of Mangoes and reigns supreme in the Indian market. It’s ideal for canning and pulp-making and is being exported To Europe, Middle East and Asian countries. Indeed, the charms of this wonderfully juicy variety are difficult to resist. It appears ovate oblique in shape with a capucine yellow colour and is fiberless. The fruit quality is excellent and keeps well.
Totapuri Mango Pulp :-
BENGALURA or Totapuri
Variety : A commercial variety from South India.
Average Weight : 350 -450 gms
Season : May – June
The Totapuri has the dreamy color of golden corn and a moderate level of sweetness. It’s a favorite in the Middle East and lends itself well to pulp making. Oblong in shape , it has fiberless, firm flesh invites you to take a big bite.
The pulp from this variety is fibre less, firm, sweet tasting (lesser than Alphonso) with cadmium yellow colour. Shelf life is good. Considered to be the hardy variety, Excellent pulp is extracted. It makes good drinks.
